When It’s Time To Replace Your Air Conditioning System
If your A/C System is no longer providing you with the comfort you desire or is hampering your wallet due to poor energy efficiency and constant repairs, then give us a call to come in and provide you with not just the various options for a new unit, but we’ll also incorporate the proper heating and cooling load calculations for your home to determine if the right size unit was installed to begin with and if your supply and return duct work was sized correctly for the rooms that they serve. You’d be surprised how many units were never properly sized for the home during the construction of the home or the last time the system was replaced.
We’ll also check to make sure that the electrical breaker and wiring sizes going to the unit is also appropriate for the new system. Existing copper lines will also be investigated for use with the new unit. We’ll evaluate indoor air quality options with you that can make a huge difference in your comfort and health, including large media filters and air ionization systems to help provide the healthiest air possible for you and your family.
If you are ready for a new A/C system before your bank account is we do have financing options available with approved credit. Options include “Low Monthly Payments” or “0% Interest”.

Frequently Asked Questions
Important Answers to Your Questions
- How do I find a good contractor? Get referrals from friends/family, check Google reviews and Angie’s List reviews or even the Better Business Bureau. Good contractors will bend over backwards to make the customer happy.
- Why is the pricing for a new A/C system all over the place? Pricing for new system installations can vary widely. Those looking for the lowest price will get what they pay for and end up paying the additional money later anyway in the way of repairs to an improperly installed system. Make sure you find a contractor that won’t cut corners and provides a fair price for their work.
- What should a good contractor be looking for when they come to my home to assess my system in order to provide me with a quote? Contractors should look at various items when looking to install a new systems, including but not limited to, adaptability of the existing wiring and breaker size for the A/C, the existing duct work sizes and layout, the existing copper lines between unit, the home’s load calculation to verify that the new unit will actually work for your home’s heating and cooling loads which may have changed from the original installation (which may have not been done correctly in the first place), and much more.
4. Which brand of air conditioning should I buy? Some of the popular brands out there are Rheem, Ruud, Goodman, Trane, Carrier, Lennox, and York. Most of the remaining brands are made by one of those big brands, and they just throw a different label on the unit. You’re likely going to find identical Copeland branded compressors in almost all of those units, and the compressor is the heart of the system. Quality between the different brands will all be relatively equal, so, essentially, what will dictate 90% of the success or failure of your new system will be the contractor installing it. Find a good contractor and they can make any brand of equipment perform really really well.
5. What kind of warranty will I get? Manufacturers like Rheem, Ruud, Goodman, Trane, Carrier, Lennox, and York will offer parts warranties on their new equipment. Typically in the range of 5-10 years. Contractors will typically include some kind of labor warranty with a new system should something come up. Asking for an Extended Labor Warranty can help provide you with “No Hassle” service for years to come after installation. Learn more here.
